Dehiwala Zoo
One of the oldest zoological gardens in Asia, located just 11 km from Colombo Fort. The zoo is home to a diverse collection of native and exotic animals, including 72 species of mammals, 65 birds, 31 reptiles, 89 fish, 3 amphibian families, and 30 butterfly species. Features include an aquarium, aviary, butterfly garden, reptile house, and daily elephant shows. Beautifully landscaped with lush greenery.
