Ancient and sacred Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, located atop Swami Rock in Trincomalee overlooking the Indian Ocean. It is one of the five Pancha Ishwarams of Sri Lanka and a significant religious, historical, and archaeological site. The current structure is a rebuilt version after destruction during Portuguese colonization.
