A panoramic viewpoint at 1,970 metres elevation in the Haputale Hills, named after Sir Thomas Lipton, the tea magnate who oversaw his Dambatenne Tea Estate from this point. On a clear day, the view encompasses a vast sea of tea plantations, mountains, and on exceptionally clear days, both the south and east coasts of Sri Lanka. The walk from Dambatenne factory through tea estates to the viewpoint is one of the most scenic hikes in the country.

Sir Thomas Lipton reportedly climbed to this viewpoint each morning on horseback to survey his tea estates before beginning the day's work. The estate workers have passed down stories of his eccentric habits and his deep respect for the land.
