A 2nd-century BC monastery attributed to King Kawantissa. Recently revived through archaeological excavations revealing meditation chambers, preaching halls, moonstones, and a stupa believed to house relics of Lord Buddha and 100 Arhants. Located on a rock plateau with carved steps, the site once hosted hundreds of monks.
