Point Pedro is the northernmost point of Sri Lanka, located on the Jaffna Peninsula. Known for its geographical importance, it features coastal beauty and historical interest. Just 10 minutes away stands the 31-meter-tall Point Pedro Lighthouse, built in 1931 to aid maritime navigation. Though no longer functional since the 1990s, the lighthouse now serves as a coastal monument within a naval base, offering distant views against the sea and sky.
